The Japan Council is composed of faculty and staff at Michigan State University with significant research and/or teaching interests in Japanese Studies.
Council members are involved in helping to organize and promote lectures, research opportunities, classes, cultural demonstrations, and other events that support Japanese Studies at MSU. It draws upon a small endowment to help foster research, exchange, and learning about Japan across campus. For more information about upcoming events or the council itself, or to inquire about joining, please contact the chairperson.
